For the past 40 years, Susan Van Vleet has been an agent of change facilitation companies going through difficult transition such as downsizing, restructuring, mergers and and the creator of the ground-breaking Women Moving Forward course. Her workshop, “Women Moving Forward®” first presented in June 1979, has placed her at the forefront of those helping women break through the “glass ceiling” of corporate America. Based in Thousand Oaks, CA, her company provides training and management programs to Fortune 500 companies throughout the U.S., as well as corporations in China, Canada, Mexico , The Netherlands, Germany, Venezuela, Chile, Brazil, South Korea, Japan, and Australia. Ms. Van Vleet has been nationally recognized by Who”s Who in the West, Who”s Who of American Women, The International Who”s Who of Women, Personalities of the West and Midwest and Outstanding Young Women of America for 1980. She holds a Masters Degree in Social Work Administration from Rutgers University and a BA from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Prior to founding her own corporation, Ms. Van Vleet served as Director of Government Relations for Effectiveness Training, Inc., an international education corporation. She has been married for 38 years to John Van Vleet . They have two children: Charlie – 40, Adam – 36.
